Lust Game
Lust Game

A sex toy review doesn’t have to be about something that buzzes. Sex toys can be far more subtle and sensual than that. Anything that gets your juices flowing is great and intimate games such as the Lust game are perfect for the job.

Lust is a game for two players, no party antics here, it’s just for couples. Its rules are simple and the game is easy to play. The ultimate aim is to “Build a Fantasy” that you and your lover indulge yourself in when you reach the end.

In the box you will find a game board, two counters, a dice and two types of card, action cards and love making cards. You accumulate love making cards through the game as you successfully carry out the tasks given to you on the action cards.

The actions you perform can be anything from kissing in a certain way, touching your lover, communicating non-verbally, putting on romantic music, changing the lighting, lighting candles or telling your lover how you feel about them.

All of the cards are designed to get you and your lover closer and make you interact in increasingly intimate ways so that by the time you reach the end of the game (the bed at the centre of the board) you are ready to follow the Love Making Cards.

About a third of the way from the start of the game you might be lucky enough to land on the smooch position, where you and your partner get to have a good snog. Though don’t be disheartened if you don’t land on it because there are plenty of opportunities to kiss long and deep throughout the game.

When you earn a love making card and choose one from the deck you and your partner have to agree that it’s appropriate. This is typical of the game, it’s about creating intimacy and building passion not playing chicken with increasingly challenging sexual acts as some games can be.

The Lust Game doesn’t require you to have a lot of props to hand. The few that it does require you’ll probably have around the house anyway and if not, improvise, it makes your playing experience more personal. The Lust game can also be played in around 30 to 40 minutes just the right amount of time to get you relaxed and horny.

The result of this subtle approach is that you look forward to the end of the game as the anticipation of what awaits you grows. Of course you don’t have to follow the cards to the letter when you push the game to one side and enjoy the fantasy … improvisation is what sex is all about … but it does encourage you to try things you haven’t done in a while.

The Lust game really worked for us. Its simple, practical approach to enhancing your intimate evening means that you can enjoy the game and each other whenever you like; Not just after a trip to the shop for lots of props.

You may not make it to the end of the game before deciding to act on the love making cards … and that’s a plus, isn’t it?
