Yes, we all know Durex, some of us grew up on them so to speak.  Being the most recognised barrier contraception producer in the UK, in fact the term condom and Durex were often interchangeable.

However, not all of us are familiar with Durex’s latest venture in to the adult toy market.  Originally starting out as purveyors of lubricant and cock rings, then diversifying in to wabbits!

Which is where this review of their Ultimate Thrill Rabbit Vibrator comes in.

I’m linking the classy look of the Durex packaging it’d sleek in a black silk outer box without a hint of what’s inside sans a wisp of colour running down the box ranging through from purple to pink.  On the sides are an introduction to the product contained within on one side, warnings on the other, whilst the rear has bullet pointed information about The Ultimate Thrill Rabbit Vibrator.

Non-explicit packaging is a good idea if you are selling your product in Boots the Chemist where children are liable to roam but doesn’t give the buyer a chance to see what’s inside.  So it has its good and bad points.

Inside is a sturdy black silk box embossed with the Durex name in the centre.  Once the lid is flipped it is retained by the black ribbon on each side and reveals the contents encased in a high density foam former.

In the base you will find the Ultimate Thrill Rabbit Vibrator and a black satin drawstring storage pouch (not pushed underneath the base but nicely displayed in a slit within the base.  The upper portion of the box has corners which retain the User Manual.

The User Manual is very legible with larger than normally font used in a manual and is written in English only so you don’t have to flick through several languages to find the section you require. I assume in other territories the manual is similarly monolingual for each.

Up to now I was impressed with the exception of the fact that this rabbit requires 3 x AAA batteries to operate.  In this day and age most adult toy producers have adopted the USB rechargeable model.  Its saving grace is that you are provided with a full set of batteries, you simply have to remove the isolator tab (a little piece of plastic) and you are good to go.

Perhaps Durex will consider developing its range of toys in to rechargeable ones.  🙂

As for the look and feel of the Ultimate Thrill Rabbit …

Right, now we have that covered let’s get down to some uninhibited fun.  Well, once I closed these curtains.  Don’t want the local tourist trade getting a sniff of what I’m up to.  Errr, gross.  There goes my dirty mind.  Lol

With just 3 buttons to operate switching the Ultimate Thrill Rabbit on was easy, as was selecting the vibration settings.  I memorised which button controlled the shaft and which the rabbit ears and was ready for action.

Adopting my usual testing position with my knees bent and feet together on the mattress I eased the tip of the Ultimate Thrill Rabbit between my labia.  The curve of the shaft came to rest against my g-spot and the rabbit ear pressed firmly but gently against my clitoris.

I love the flat head of the rabbit ear which makes for great contact and the substantial construction ensures good transfer of vibration.  Some ears are floppy and really quite useless for stimulation, this rabbit means business.  😉

After a few presses of the right buttons I found an escalating/pulsation combo which worked wonderfully on my eager clitoris and vaginal wall.  The deep thrum of the shaft was exactly how I like my vibrations and certainly Suze compatible.
