Back to the review…my initial thoughts on the Diavolino Metal Spike Collar is that it’s a delightful meld of bling and serious business, thick and sturdy complete with metal studs. This is quality leather collar is studded with red-amber coloured gems and pointed metal studs. And unlike cheaper collars the inside is backed with a soft, smooth leather liner.

And best of all the leather smells delightful…

The collar houses a central “O” ring for attaching to a leash, weights or other restraints. This would be sufficient for light play but wouldn’t withstand a huge amount of strain. Having said that I have seen more feeble rings on collars.

Whilst this collar may look more flamboyant than the standard hardcore collars on the market it really does hold its own in terms of weight, comfort and strength. The sizing is easily adjusted via the 5 holes in the end of the strap and the buckle is heavy duty and secured well to withstand strain.

I think the Diavolino Metal Spike Jewel Collar is the perfect blend of practical bondage wear and aesthetics and should therefore appeal to bondage and restraint newbies and seasoned BDSM’ers.

After all who said that BDSM couldn’t be fun!
