Womb Raider is not a new title, it was produced in 2004, but it is unusual. It’s an independent production by Strapon Jane herself. The content is R18, but you will not be able to buy this on the high street as the film never received a BBFC classification. If you want to buy a copy you’ll have to seek it out on the continent where it’s still available.

We were given our copy by Jane herself when we met her in London at the Passion show.

The DVD is a classic, it’s true, honest porn. Is some porn dishonest? Well it can be in a way because a 20 minute scene can take a day to shoot and involve a huge crew, plus post production time in the edit suite. When Jane and Vincezo produced Womb Raider they simply did not have that luxury.

Each scene shows those involved fucking. Not fucking for the camera, but fucking for real. Or at least that’s how it appears. Even in some porn that presents itself as the real thing you get the feeling that the scenarios are too contrived and tend to regard them as just another porn film.

Despite the fact that these scenes didn’t get filmed by accident and they are of course produced for the DVD the way they are filmed and way in which each scene progresses doesn’t make you conscious of this. You become voyeur rather than viewer and this makes for a very enjoyable DVD.

In scene 1 Jane fucks Jinx while they both tease and suck a masked and un-named slave chained to the wall or a fetish club. While he does provide a cock for Jane and Jinx to suck on he’s almost superfluous as the real interesting action is provided by Jane fucking Jinx with her famous black strapon. Our masked man does get to fuck Jinx late in the scene but for me seeing Jane in action is the best part. Indeed setting the guy free so he can shag Jinx doggy style sort of destroys the Mistress/slave scenario bubble crested at the beginning.

In Scene 2 Jane gets to fuck “T Girl” Alison. Alison a transvestite who initially lets Jane fuck her up the ass but after a while lets Jane suck her cock while Alison plays with Janes pussy before he wanks over Jane’s stockings.

This DVD has its faults. The lighting is often suspect and the camera work and angles occasionally awkward. The low production values are obvious. What this video does have is charm, yes charm! The DVD is unusual, eclectic and doesn’t conform to the standard formulas.

Strapon sex is something that most studios only seem to be willing to feature in one scene on a DVD or part of a scene on a DVD. Perhaps they see it as too niche, too specialist to have mass appeal. I think they should watch this DVD and think again.
