Film Erotica DVDs don’t look like other DVDs on the market, well not from the outside anyway. The cover pictures do not feature busty babes sucking cock or pouting at the camera. They are covered with small-ish almost abstract images that allude to the theme of the movie inside, set on a solid coloured ground. This makes the movies stand out from the rest of those on offer in your local adult store and promises something a bit different inside too.

Made In Italy is different, but in all honesty in some ways I wish it hadn’t been so different.

The title features a group of young girls in a villa in Italy, on holiday. Each of the scenes follows a similar pattern. The title I’m reviewing here, “Real UK Dogging”, is typical of a DVD filmed by All Amateur DVD. The performers are members of the public and the setting is as natural as it comes – a carpark behind a disused clubhouse. The recording is in High Definition, and it makes a difference, making the whole DVD crisper and giving it a higher quality feel despite the basic nature of the production.

Simplicity is the key. The scenes are uncomplicated and refreshing because of that. I’ll go through the scenes in a moment but first let me get the criticisms of the DVD out of the way because they are on the whole trivial. Continue reading »

Strap-on Jane

Womb Raider is not a new title, it was produced in 2004, but it is unusual. It’s an independent production by Strapon Jane herself. The content is R18, but you will not be able to buy this on the high street as the film never received a BBFC classification. If you want to buy a copy you’ll have to seek it out on the continent where it’s still available.

We were given our copy by Jane herself when we met her in London at the Passion show.

The DVD is a classic, it’s true, honest porn. Is some porn dishonest? Well it can be in a way because a 20 minute scene can take a day to shoot and involve a huge crew, plus post production time in the edit suite.
