This vibe gave me a sense of de ja vue at every stage of the review. I’ll explain why at the end. First the review.
The G-Whizz is marketed as a G-Spot vibe. It has an insertable length of 13cm and a circumference of 11cm at its widest point. It takes 2 AAA batteries and is very, very pink. It’s also lovely and soft to the touch.
You can control the speed of the toy by pressing the button on its base. This allows you to cycle through the three constant vibrating settings and the pulsing modes, eight different vibrations to try in all. Finally the vibe is totally waterproof, which is great for fun in the bathroom and for cleaning. I like to keep my toys spotlessly clean.
On with the test.
While Alex was otherwise engaged, working hard in our study, I slipped into the bedroom between clean, freshly changed sheets for a bit of clandestine fun. 😉 My clothes left in a heap on the floor I considered whether I should use a little of the Pjur Aqua Gel that I’ve just received, but I was so turned on by my naughty little assignation with my new pink friend that I was already wet inside. I slid my middle right finger deep inside my pussy and spread the wetness across my lips.
The vibe slid inside, its petite nature and my arousal allowing its pinkness to merge with mine instantly. The vibe’s construction also means it warms up fast two. I pressed the button and the vibrations started. Even on its lowest setting the vibe is quite powerful.
I slowly upped the speed to level three, seeking out my G-Spot. No, despite knowing my pussy intimately I could not find my G-Spot. Alright I thought. Let’s try the pulsing modes. Sadly I was left in the same less than satisfied state. The G-Spot is such a personal thing, so I can’t say that you’ll not find yours with the G-Whizz, but I couldn’t quite reach mine. It could be a height thing, me being 5’7”.
So I was left unsatisfied, and not too happy. What to do?
I started to circle my clit with the vibe, experimenting with the settings. They were all good fun ;), but the one that I settled on was …… I could feel my already engorged labia pulsing and knew that a clitoral orgasm was heading my way. The power of this vibe is very impressive for its size when it is inside you, but on your clit you find it’s a straight-to-the-point orgasm generator.
When my climax took over me my back arched and any hope of keeping my solo masturbation a secret from Alex disappeared as I moaned a long “Aaaaaaaah!”.
So the G-Whizz does hit the spot, just not the G-Spot, at least not for me.
Now to explain the de ja vue comment at the top of the review.
The G-Whizz is almost the same size, has the same features as the Fun Factory Angelo. It takes two AAA batteries, it’s waterproof and it fits neatly into your handbag. It comes in a lovely purple, as opposed to a nice girly pink and the function control is on the side, which means you can’t change settings on the Angelo when it’s fully inserted. The Angelo has a shape which is more artistically sculptured too, but other than these small differences the two vibes are almost identical.
So which would I buy it?
You can buy a Fun Factory Angelo for as little as £22-95– I know I just checked. Well, if you’re budget conscious I have to say that the current price of £9-99 for the G-Whizz can’t be ignored, though it doesn’t quite give me the G-Spot stimulation it claims it’s a competent compact vibe. However if you want a little bit more style you’ll have to spend a few pounds more and go for the Fun Factory offering.
