Pipedream have done it again, created a masturbator that actually stopped me saying “Oh no, not another palm pussy style masturbator”. Because let’s face it there are a lot of masturbators out there that are the same-old. That’s not the fault of the companies that create them, I mean after all if they do the job and provide a new sensation to their users then great but I do like to review new things and this one is new.

Reality in masturbators can be somewhat lacking and novelty features that don’t add much to the pleasure of using them are all too common. The big feature of this masturbator is that you have to peel back the outer “lips” to get inside. Behind the outer lips are a pair of simplistically modelled labia minora and a ribbed “vagina” into which you can slip yourself.

The Peek-a-Boo Pussy Masturbator is constructed from FantaFlesh, a soft flesh-like plastic which is firm and yet soft to the touch. It has a distinctive but not pungent odour and needs a good rinse in warm water before and after use to keep it clean. This sort of plastic is porous and isn’t recommended that you use strong soap with it but I use a little anti-bac soap when I’m cleaning masturbators like this for my own peace of mind. The masturbator comes with its own tiny tube of toy cleaner but that will only last for one use so I opted for a proprietary soap followed by a good rinse and a thorough air-dry. I can’t say this will not degrade the plastic but I’ve never had any problems with similar toys cleaned this way and it ensures that I know it’s clean without buying an expensive toy cleaner for each masturbator.

I found the Peek-a-boo pussy easy to use because of the wide opening to the ribbed tunnel inside and the fact that the lips and tunnel allow you to load it up with water based lube before use. This is a substantial sex toy that has enough mass of plastic isomer around your cock to make you feel that you are inside someone whether you jam it between some pillows for some hip thrusting action or use it in your hand. With thinner walls on a masturbator you can feel your fingers manipulating the sleeve as you masturbate, which can be a good thing. But when your masturbator feels like it’s part of something else then it’s a different feeling entirely.

I can’t say that the “Peek-a-Boo” aspect of the toy particularly wowed me, if I want to see what a set of labia minora look lie I’ll look at a real pair or at a better modelled masturbator. But the tunnel’s ribbing was very satisfying and the mass of the toy meant that in every position I used it I found myself thrusting into it involuntarily until I climaxed – always an indication of a good masturbator.

Being a simple, one-piece design means that when you do clean this masturbator it’s easy to be sure you’ve removed every trace of your, er, enjoyment 😉 But drying it was awkward as it kept falling over into the bath, which amused the cat.

It’s a pity that the outer labia aren’t more realistic but maybe that’s down to manufacturing practicalities or just cost. Hey you mould makers out there! Can you create a mould that will give a realistic set of spreadable lips (labia majora) for us guys to play with? OK I know it will involve a complex mould but it would be a revolution.
