I’m quite excited to receive my Nova as it’s the first Bluetooth vibrator I’ve tested.  I know they have been around for a while but I’ve never got my hands on one until now.

The packaging for the We-Vibe Nova is substantial, made from heavy weight card so you’ll be able to stack this box with your others without fear of your new friend getting crushed. And of course it’s recyclable.

The box is matt white with bullet points on the front and an almost life sized image of the vibrator within.  A lenticular sticker at the bottom right corner of the box illustrates the Nova’s flexibility, aiming to provide comfortable, constant clitoral contact during use.

On the rear of the box there is a bullet pointed guide to the key features of the rabbit vibrator.  And on the side is the link to the app store so you can download your programmable app.  Not only do you have 10 pre programmed modes but you can also create your own.  Very impressive!

The design of the Nova rabbit very much resembles Lelo’s Ina Wave but it’s slightly more curvy and slimmer.

Once the top section of the box is removed the Nova is revealed sitting in its white suede effect former.  Beneath you will find the USB charging cable, User Guide (I would say manual but in this case it is a very brief fold out leaflet.) white satin drawstring top storage pouch and a sachet of lube.

I like the shape and feel of the Nova, it’s got kinky curves and finished in a suede like texture.  Not sure if this will facilitate the collection of fluff & dust but is does feel good in the hand.  😉

The User Guide informs you that the charge time for the Nova is about 2 hours but doesn’t tell you what to look for on the control panel when it is fully charged.  So I will.  The pink light on the handle will pulse whilst charging and remain steady when charged.

Charging itself is easy and the incredibly positive connection means there will be no disconnection when on charge.  In fact the magnetic attraction is so strong that you can actually pick up the vibrator with the charging lead.

Downloading the app is easy, quick and straightforward.  I was dreading the process as I’ve never been on an app store before and know that a badly written app can be a pain.  I know, to say I come from a techie background I shouldn’t be so backward.  Lol

Just minutes later I’ve downloaded the app and my vibe is charged too!  I assume they despatch their vibrators with a good top up of power before despatching.  That’s great news for me and you when it comes to being an impatient girly.  🙂

So without further ado here’s a rundown of the Nova’s key elements and I’m off to give her a wash before the fun begins.

• Offers 10 x modes of vibration.  And the option to programme your own in.
• Multiple speed settings for the clitoral and internal vibration.
• Two independently controlled motors, one in the shaft and the other in the clitoral stimulator.
• Ergonomically shaped with very flexible clitoral stimulator to fit all shapes and sizes.
• Can be controlled via Bluetooth or manually using the control interface on the handle.
• Gives you the ability to have your partner link to your phone and take control.  Oooh, I like that idea.  😉
• Is fully rechargeable using the USB cable provided.  So you can even charge it in the office.
• Being 100% waterproof means the fun doesn’t have to stop in the bathroom.  However, you may wish to go manual as I wouldn’t recommend you take your phone in to the shower.

Follow me to the boudoir and let’s give this rabbit a run for its money.  Oooh, I forgot to mention the price of the Nova is within the “Luxury” bracket.

Initially I was going to be greedy and have all the fun to myself but I asked Alex to accompany me in to the bedroom.

Insertion of the We-Vibe Nova involved two hands as I positioned the shaft inside me whilst holding the clitoral vibrator and positioning it over my clitoral hood.  The rigid shaft finds its resting place once inside and presses against the g-spot whilst the clitoral vibe nuzzles against you firmly but not uncomfortably.

I had to manipulate the clitoral vibrator to position it correctly as it has a tendency to either over extend or retreat back to it’s original shape.  But I found once grounded we were ready for action.

Tip: The rigid shape of the shaft tends to lend itself to slipping out of you so it helps to close your thighs on the Nova whilst using it.

Loading the app I maxed up the first mode to 10 on both the internal and external settings.  Wow.  This vibrator packs some action!

The vibrations are deep, not the buzzy fly kind which tend to do very little for me.  They are also very powerful on the highest setting.

Sometimes rabbit vibrators can be a little disheartening when it comes to the clitoral action but in this case it wasn’t so.  The We-Vibe Nova delivers.

After trying a couple of modes whilst Alex attached to my phone I let him take over and OMG!

He teased me with a few settings before hitting me with the biggy.  When he went in to “Surf” mode I started to twitch as my clitoris fired in to action.  I normally climax on g-spot stimulation with rabbits but I fast became aware that this was going to be a clitoral one.

Possibly a first for me.  😉

Switching to “Crest” mode tipped me over the edge.  Moments later I was twitching and bucking my hips as I was overcum with the strongest clitoral orgasm.  It must have measured a 10 on the Richter Scale.  😉

It took me minutes to calm down as Alex lay there smiling at me.

I couldn’t recommend this vibrator strongly enough. It delivers on power, ease of use and app control, which is faultless and exceeded my expectations having used some remote control devices from major players which didn’t make the grade.

Just one suggestion I have to make is the shape of the clitoral stimulator needs to be looked at as it tends to not sit in place correctly unless tweaked.

If you can afford the investment this is one for your bedside drawer.  I don’t think you would ever tire of using the We-Vibe Nova.
