This isn’t a big scary whip but more of a tool for sensual pleasure. The flogger looked great in the bag it was supplied in but gave us a malodourous surprise when I slipped it out of the clear plastic bag. The smell. The bright colours of the suede come from dying, I mean you don’t get many purple cows so that’s hardly surprising! But it seems that the manufacturers were rather keen to pack up the flogger when it had been made and didn’t wait for the pungent smell of dye to dissipate before sealing it in its packaging. I hung the suede flogger on the handle of a wardrobe in our spare room for a few days before the aroma had reduced to a tolerable level.

This is a toy for sensual pleasure and “impact play” as Wikipedia would have it as we found in the bedroom. The length and weight of the flogger are not sufficient to deal a hefty blow to your partner, that’s not what this sort of sex toy is meant for. I found it very relaxing to have my back, neck buttocks and upper thigh’s stroked with the flogger. Though it does tickle on the back of the knees! Ten minutes of that had me itching to turn over and my pleasure at being caressed with suede tendrils was “prominently evident”.
