Anyone who knows me well and following me for a while will know that I’m not a fan of the Hitachi Magic Wand and to quote myself “It’s like taking a sledge hammer to crack a nut”.  Lol  But I thought I would give this updated version of the wand a sex toy review to see if it would change my mind.

The packaging of the Body Wand is basic but sturdy with clear branding and informative descriptions, it certainly doesn’t try to be what it isn’t.  This product after all is sold as a massager, where you use it is up to you but I bet you can guess where mine is going.  Lol

I found that the Body Wand doesn’t feel quite so cumbersome to hold as the Hitachi Magic Wand and the addition of a textured band around its middle helps with grip, especially if you were to use it with lubricants as your hand do tend to get a little slippery.

Overall the structure of the Body Wand seems to be sturdy and robust but I did note that there is no strain relief around the power lead on this product which should be addressed as this could lead to the cable breaking.

I did notice that there are two features that aren’t present in the Hitachi Magic Wand, a multispeed control and a head which flexes.  Yes, they do say that the head of the HMW is flexible but it’s fairly rigid by comparison to this massager.
