I first met Merci a couple of years ago and did a sex toy review of their mini Hitachi wand style vibrator the Fairy Wand.

This year I came away from the ETO Show with two of their latest products, one of which I am about to test and review, the Rainbou Rabbit Vibrator.  I saw this vibrator in action on their stand and just had to bring one home to test and review.

I’m all in favour of giving my support to up and coming adult toy developers and that’s exactly what Merci are, I believe they are now supplying their white label products to several adult stores.

However I did find myself feeling a little uneasy reviewing this product because in my opinion the build quality of the product isn’t as good as it could be.  The casing feels very flexible and prone to both breakage and water ingress.

It’s a shame because the previous product I reviewed from them was of a very high quality.  This could be due in part to the economic squeeze that most manufacturers are in at the moment and if this is the case then I do feel for the small manufacturers who are struggling to compete but at the same time I do feel that quality must not be compromised by costs.

But that’s me a tester not a producer talking.  Let’s hope the actual functionality of the product out weighs any misgivings I have.

At this point I would normally give you a rundown of the products qualities but the packaging gives nothing away and the website even less as I can’t read Japanese.  What I do know is the Rainbou offers:

• Multispeed independent rabbit vibrations and multispeed wriggles (squirmy action).
• This vibe doesn’t have rotating beads but a shaft which wriggles.  😉
• Gives you a multi coloured light show whilst in use which is useful for seeing in the dark.
• Comes complete with a sample of lube, a condom for covering your vibe and 3 x AAA batteries so you are ready to go.

NOTE:  Needs to be washed with care not to wet the base unit.

Now the vitals are out of the way let’s get down to it…

I spent the morning writing and speaking to clients and by lunch tine I was feeling rather addled and in need of some light relief.

I slid the controls up to max for a full on hit and found that the noise generated from the vibe’s action was very distracting despite the effective stimulation being delivered.  This vibrator isn’t one of the quietest I’ve tested.

Despite the distracting noise I did enjoy the excellent internal g-spot massage offered by the Rainbou and found myself coming to a juddering sensless hault, toes curled skyward and rapidly breathing.
