Harmony is fragranced with Japanese peony, Thai pepper, frangipani, white musk and vanilla

The set of massage oils is packaged beautifully and would make a perfect gift to a female partner with its promise of many indulgent evenings of sensual massage. And in reverse I can’t see many men not enjoying a massage but also the promise of being able to massage their partner were they to receive this product.

Now I can’t vouch for any specific aphrodisiac properties of any of the massage oils in the set but they do help you relax and establish an intimate bond with your partner even after the most stressful of days. That alone is worth the cost of the product. But quality massage oils like this are much more than that.

On their own you can use the Geisha massage oils to help you both relax. Combine them with a blindfold and perhaps a little light bondage and you can have the makings of a sensational evening of sensory stimulation.

Smell being perhaps the most evocative of senses it triggers very basic and potent reactions in both participants of a massage. So needless to say we enjoyed the oils in this set on all sorts of levels and will continue to do so until the bottles are exhausted. The combination of aroma and intimate sensual contact that massage entails is very compelling.

Having four different blends of fragrance in one set is a huge advantage as it allows you to match the oil with your mood and the ambience you want to create. You’ll always have a favourite, ours is “Spicy” but tomorrow it might be something else, LOL.

The oils should be used within 6 months of opening, but that’s unlikely to be a problem because this is a product that you are likely to want to use as often as you can.

A well presented set that aids relaxation and enhances foreplay. The oils are “enriched with Vitamins E & F” too so your skin could benefit too. Flickering Touch Massage Oil

Flickering Touch Massage Oil is an indulgent treat for you and your partner. A review of an adult product like this is the description of the whole experience of using it rather than a list of features that you would normally expect from a sex toy review but I will start by giving you a few facts about this product.

The oil is “a blend of apricot kernel, grape seed and jojoba”, to that Lelo have added 24 “Karat” gold flakes. The flakes are apparently to give your skin a sheen after use. It’s nice to see a product that uses sustainable ingredients, at least as far as the oils are concerned. The scent of the oil is “Spicy Clove & Amber” which fills your nostrils with its rich warmth as soon as you begin to use it.

Now to the experience I mentioned.

Visually this product looks opulent without being overly embellished or showy. The matt black box has an image of the product inside which almost does justice to the beautifully designed bottle within. I say almost because the design of the bottle is second to none when it comes to massage oils. Black with a gold pump dispenser the carefully designed whole is topped with an ingenious amber coloured plastic ring which finishes off the design and creates a stylish halo around the dispenser preventing you from accidentally pressing the pump. Because the bottle is quite squat it will stand on any reasonably flat surface, including a mattress, unlike other taller containers which tend to fall over in such situations. This can be very inconvenient when you are massaging your partner in bed because you really want the oil close to hand.

The dispenser allows you to squirt oil onto your hand very accurately meaning there’s no waste and because it’s such a high quality a little goes a long way. As soon as you apply it to your partner’s skin it seems to warm up and immediately turn every movement of your hand over their skin into a smooth, relaxing and aromatic caress. The fragrance in the oil is pleasant and soothing neither male or female just very, very sensual.

Once you have enough oil for the area being massaged I found that there was no need to add any more even though I continued for around 15 minutes. When being massaged there was no perceptible decrease in the lubrication provided by the Flickering Touch Massage Oil during a similar length massage from Suze.

This is not a cheap product but because of how little you use it is excellent value for money. If you want to spend time with your partner it’s a great way to do so and adds a soothing and decadent element to your play.

A note of warning is required here. Unlike some massage products this is not a sexual lubricant, indeed the packaging warns against swallowing or contact with eyes. So wash your hands before you get a little more intimate.

And another thing. I honestly could not tell that either of us was “shimmering” any more than with any other massage oil. So I can’t say that containing 24 Karat gold has much of an effect. Don’t let that detract from this being a very impressive product that we really enjoyed using and will be using again soon

bSwish bWarm Rose Patchouli Massage Candle

To say we always carry out sex toy reviews on this site is a little misleading. Along with the sex toys we review other adult products like this one, the bWarm Massage candle from bSwish. It’s scented with Rouse and Patchouli and designed as the perfect start to an evening of sensuality. You don’t always have to be straight in there with the sex toys as soon as you reach the bedroom you know.

Massage candles are a great way to fill the air around you and your partner with aromas and provide the medium that allows you to indulge in a luxurious massage. That can be just part of an evening of relaxation or the beginning of a night of passion.

What’s particularly nice about the bSwish candle is that it’s specifically designed for pouring. Some other candles are just that, candles, but this one is cast in its own silicone holder. This holder frames the flame while it is burning and its elongated shape means that when you want to drizzle the wax onto your partner’s skin you can direct it exactly where you want it to go.

The first thing I found out about the bSwish candle was that it seems to take a long time to melt. Usually a few minutes of burning liberates enough wax for a back massage. On our first attempt I blew out the candle and before the small pool of wax that I had created reached the end of the shaped holder it had solidified. We tried again with a longer burn and it worked OK.

Why didn’t you read the instructions? I hear you ask. Well I had tried but despite the front of the gate-fold leaflet being in English the rest was in Russian and Japanese. So I know it was an “Instruction Manual” but more than that is a mystery. The paper was only printed on one side so this may have been a printing error, not very useful.

Back to our test.

I drizzled the wax onto Suze’s back from about 30 cm above it. Too close! Although not painful the sensation reported by Suze was uncomfortable. A little extra height solves that problem allowing the wax to shed its heat before hitting skin.

The smell that pervades the room from the burning of this candle and when you begin to massage it into skin is most definitely girly but not sickly. I’m not one for Rose on its own, but mixed with patchouli it’s very nice.

As a massage balm and skin moisturiser the candle is pretty good. Suze came away saying how soft her skin felt and although a little less slick than an oil as you’d expect from wax, LOL, you can give a really nice, slow and sensuous massage with this product.

The bSwish bWarm massage candle is very reasonably priced and very useable. It makes a great prelude to a night of fun, be that one for relaxation or something a bit more vigorous. Not having instructions in English is a bit annoying but common sense will see you through.

This product was one to try at the weekend, it’s all about indulgence and taking your time. We waited until early evening when the light was fading and we had opened a bottle of wine. With the room pleasantly warm we both got naked and took it in turns to have the massage gel drizzled onto our backs and languorously rubbed in.

The aroma of this product is subtle and very pleasant. The sweetness of the tangerines mixed with a little lime to ensure it does not become overpowering. We were rather surprised that the viscosity of the product wasn’t higher. Being called a massage gel we assumed it would be less likely to drip and run off parts of your body that weren’t horizontal. However due to the pump-action dispenser it’s very difficult to over apply and we didn’t spill a drop.

While we were applying the massage geland rubbing it into each other’s naked flesh we got the impression that we were applying quite a lot of the product. However checking the level in the bottle afterwards it appears that was not the case. The pump dispenser means you get just the right amount without spillage and the bottle appears to have another 8 or 10 sessions left in it, so in total around 20 or so individual back massages.

The scent of the massage gel and of course the massage itself really put us in the mood but it also left us a little tacky. Sometimes a product like this simply needs the excess removing with a little paper towel and will then become absorbed into the skin. In this case we felt a little sticky so had to wash each other’s back before we got down to the important business of following up the sensual massage with a bit of serious naughtiness.

On the plus side the LyLou massage gel smells great, fresh and sweet without being sickly at all. It also works fine as a massage oil with the warming effect adding to the experience. However I expected a more viscous product, less prone to dripping – at least that’s what gel in the name said to me. And then there’s the stickiness. It would have been nice to have your skin absorb the product and not have to worry about adhering to the sheets. You don’t end up like a fly paper but until you have had a quick wash you are very conscious of the residue.

This is a good product, more economical than we first thought and if you don’t mind the slight stickiness afterwards certainly one to consider.

Swede Flower Power Massage oil

We are going to have to find a more appealing name for our sex toys reviews when the reviews aren’t about toys. Adult product reviews doesn’t quite cut it but will do for now. However it doesn’t do justice to wonderfully sensual and stimulating products like Swede Flower Power Massage Oil.

Suze described this massage oil as a fruit cocktail of delight after I had tried it on her back a couple of times.

Sitting in front of a computer screen all day is terrible for the back. Even if you are aware of the need to get up and take regular breaks it is easy to forget and Suze’s remorseless work ethic means she gives herself too few breaks. So when we got a bottle of Swede Flower Power Massage Oil from the stand at Venus In Berlin it provided us with a practical product as well as sensory stimulation.
