Porn debuts of any kind, be they performance or directorial can be a little shaky so it’s with a certain trepidation that I place this DVD in the player and wait for the menu to appear. Mind Fuck is the first DVD by Scarlett Revell and as a new director entering a crowded market, competing against so much free content will it make you want to go out and spend your hard earned wonga?

Top billing in this movie goes to Skin Diamond but despite being the predominant performer she is not the only star. Scarlett has pulled some great performances out of the assembled cast to conjure up a twisted vision of a “sick” girl in an institution whose illness centres around her extreme and rampant sexual desires.

Beginning with a hot and hard three-girl scene involving Skin Diamond, two sexy nurses and a mean looking strap-on dildo the viewer is taken on a trip into a sick institution, or is it a twisted mind. The truth is we don’t know because as each scene unfolds you are exposed to what appears to be different aspects of Skin Diamond’s psyche manifested through hard core sex scenes. Is she dreaming or is she insane. You’ll find yourself not caring because every scene is acted out rather well (especially for an adult movie!).

There is story here, in as much as any purely adult movie has a story these days and your concept of sanity is played with a little too. I was really surprised that the first scene didn’t fall foul of the BBFC rules about depicting consensual sex when it began but it looks like the censors had their common sense heads on when they rated this movie because a few minutes in and the intro depicting Skin Diamond’s reluctance gives way to a hot three girl scene. There are lots of close-ups, lots of filthy language and most importantly as much girl on girl action as you could wish for.

As you watch the big dicks, hot chicks and freaky scenarios unfold – and you realise that this new director is one twisted bitch. What’s even better is that she can make good adult movies. Checking the credits you can see that the film was both directed and edited by Scarlett. This is just the sort of different and edgy porn that we need to see more of, safe porn scenarios don’t work anymore, they’ve all been done. Imaginative pornography is the way to separate the professional productions from the dreary low quality dross out there and this production has that imagination in spades. We don’t need 35mm film to prove a director can direct and that performers can perform, HD video works just fine and the combination of the freaky Dutch angles and Scarlett’s editing really work.

This film isn’t perfect, the acting is good for a porn movie but a bit wooden at times however it is by no means the worst I’ve seen in an adult movie so that’s a minor criticism.

So go out, get hold of a copy of this movie on VoD or DVD from your local adult store and when you’ve been suitably impressed by Scarlett Revell’s Mind Fuck keep an eye out for her next twisted offering.

Gazzman brings us an atmospheric tale of submission and domination in this offering from the Harmony stable. Featuring more kink than some might be used to this is essentially a high quality fuck fest that most will find irresistible. It is a quality outing for the assembled cast of hot and horny harlots brought together for the DVD. To create a great porn DVD you need to bring together all the right elements – concept, location, direction, camera, lighting, production and the performers.

The concept has been proven by earlier titles from Harmony Films in this series. I started watching Wasted by British director Gazzman and couldn’t decide what category it fell into. Was it a mocumentary? Was it a spoof? Was it trying to be reality TV, but about porn and porn production?

I came to the conclusion that it’s what TV producers have taken to calling “Constructed Reality”. That is telling a story by carefully crafting a series of directed scenes, sometimes improvised, to tell a story as if it were happening for real. The director and the viewer form an unspoken agreement not to question this deceit. Through that metaphorical nod and wink we get to enjoy a rather extreme, R18 rated soap opera about some pretty out of control porn stars trying to make a movie despite them being depicted as having deep character flaws and mercurial behaviours.

We watch Brooklyn Lee, Angelina Valentine, Kelly Klass, Aiden Starr, Breanne Benson, James Deen, Nacho Vidal, Nick Manning, Danny Mountain and Tony De Sergio fight their respective daemons while they fuck for the camera.

James Deen is depicted as an alcoholic, steeling booze from sleeping vagrants and pissing on the windshield of an SUV while standing on the hood (it’s in the states OK, if he was in the UK it would be a windscreen and a bonnet :p)

Angelina Valentine is billed as a psychopath, and is pretty good at acting like a psycho diva for the purposes of the movie.

Nacho Vidal is apparently “Angry”, soooo he shouts a lot, throws a lot of things, breaks one camera of a journalist who wants to interview him and then fucks his co-star.

Nick Manning, “Pretty Boy Of Porn” doesn’t do humility, and he doesn’t get on with Nacho Vidal for the purposes of the DVD. He is only tamed when Aiden Starr has him gagged and strapped to a table. Apparently this scene isn’t for public release – oh dear, Gazzman seems to have forgotten and put it on the DVD.

In “Porn Couples” some nice use of gym equipment is used as we watch a porn couple row about a scene he did “behind her back” and then make up by fucking hard.

The end of the movie has Nacho Vidal scream into an underground parking lot at the studios, storm into the office and rant at the management. All very amusing.

If you know Gazzman’s work you know what the porn content of the movie will be like. Every position, every hole and lots of cum for you to enjoy. The settings are industrial and the fucking is vigorous and raw. Personally I liked Aiden Starr and Nick Manning’s scene best because it was different, a little kinky and playful in its execution. There’s more variety in this movie than in some of Gazzman’s output and the movie is better for it. The sex scenes are good, but it’s the movie as a whole that makes me tempted to say this is his best title yet.

The premise of this DVD is not entirely new but I’ve never seen it executed so well and to such good effect. There have been “reality” porn movies before but this one has a vitality and humour that means that I, a hater of soaps and constructed reality really enjoyed. This isn’t for everyone but you need to watch it to see that porn movies don’t have to have the budget of an epic to be different and entertaining.

The first Anal Debauchery was reviewed by Alex and it comprised of 10 scenes over two disks. This time round there is just one disk and 5 scenes. But there is one distinct and very welcome change this time round.

Gazzman seems to have changed direction and become everything I ever wanted him to be. This shocked me as I’m used to his slightly misogynistic style and this DVD breaks the mould. I have to say that in the DVD he has produced possibly the best work I have seen him create to date and totally blown me away.

The scenes are all well thought through and imaginative, and the girls very attractive natural beauties the perfect combination for a good porn DVD. One thing which did puzzle me is that the named scenes are all under the header of “True Love Is” which makes me think this production could have been re-titled for impact.

Romance

This is the second release in The Voyeur isdistributed by Harmony Films. My first review was slightly damning of Indecent Exposure with its uninspiring scenes and predictable format but this production is a complete turn around.

All the scenes commence with the female star masturbating for her suitor, who is watching in the sidelines, hence the voyeur title. It was nice to see the return of open crotch knickers, haven’t seen a pair for years but they do make for a more interesting fingering masturbation scene.

The girls use fingers and toys including a rather large black dildo and a rabbit vibrator to get themselves in the mood. And I’m pleased to say that there is a lavish amount of foreplay in the 5 scenes, including nipple sucking and licking, kissing of ass which is quite tender in the scene with Tony De Sergio and even a little rimming. The whole feel of this production is that it is more wholesome and rounded which makes for more appealing DVD viewing. The scenes are all varied some with a smattering of kink which appeals to me even more. The five scenes comprise of 4 MF and one MFM and runs for 2 hours and 38 minutes.

Gazzman’s Whorehouse is exactly what it says on the cover, the story of the goings on in a very special type of whorehouse. The whorehouse is a very nice place, a 20^th century country house with a pool.

A Harmony production, this is one in series of Nymphomaniac releases from the Gazzman stable. The Nymphomaniac series are centred around a porn star’s perspective of sex and sexuality. This DVD is presented by Tori Black, who provides a forward and links between the scenes.

This particular production comprises of 6 scenes, two featuring Tori herself and the others depicting her take on things but starring other girls. The runtime of the film is 3 hours and 40 minutes, which includes DVD extras such as the familiar Photo Gallery and the far more interesting look Behind the Scenes.

I had never heard of Tori before but she tends to leave a lasting memory, her capacity to swallow cock is unrivalled. You find yourself asking where she puts it all. Knickers Off stars a number of familiar faces from the Harmony Films stable and features some familiar locations. Being a film by Strangelove you know it’s going to have a certain feel to it and that it’s not going to be run of the mill.

Cindy Dollar’s opening scene is striking to say the least because of her Polka dot dress. Knickers off could have been better, the criticisms levelled above explain why, primarily over-long sequences that at times become dull, but don’t let that stop you from seeing this movie. There are some great scenes and performances which the issues with the production and direction don’t overshadow.
