I have a discovered a side to me that made me feel slightly uncomfortable, at least initially. Suze actually enjoyed watching this DVD. It’s completely different to anything I have ever watched before in the porn arena.

Meet Mr Happy Review

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Happy today. He was delivered to my door all the way from the USA, California to be precise. And I must say I have taken great delight in fingering him.

Tanya Hyde Dollz House Review

Dollz house by Tanya Hyde is filmed in HD with an original soundtrack and a cast of names that any porn aficionado will recognise. With performances by Aletta Ocean, Robyn Truelove, Sofia Valentine, Aliz, Keira Pharrell, Lala, Havna Sin, George Uhl, Olivier Sanchez, Dirty Dog, Danny D, Jay Snake, Freaky Deke and Barry Scott we expected this 3 hour DVD to be packed with action.

There are four scenes starting with “Sex Doll” featuring Aletta Ocean. It’s slightly surreal, as is the set and involves a long session of cunilingus which at first is fun because the girl is getting the attention, then drags on a bit. Her costume is striking, electric pink waspie and pasties and striped stockings but the shots, though beautifully filmed, are a little obvious and gynaecological at times.

Simply witnessing a succession of sex acts is not what we expect from Tanya Hyde and that’s what Dollz house felt like; Even if those sex acts were very well performed and filmed.

If Hyde was aiming for surreal then to an extent that feeling was achieved but it was surreal to the point of disassociation and therefore not sexy in a trippy way which could have worked.

The incidental music is electro-synth style and a refreshing change from the run-of the mill garbage that accompanies most porn.

You can’t watch this DVD in one session and maybe that’s not what it was conceived for. As a background to a wild sex party where your attention is drifting between the girl sucking your cock for real and the girls on screen then it would work. And you wouldn’t have to change DVD for three hours and get the buttons sticky.

Dollz House could have been a lot better at engaging me and making me feel more horny. Not the best Tanya Hyde film, but that said most directors would give their right arm to be as good as Hyde on a bad day.

No prizes for guessing the theme of this DVD. If you’re into big boobs you will no doubt be eager to find out if it delivers what the title promises.

The DVD consists of six unrelated scenes. Scenes 4, 5 and 6 are OK, though a little formulaic but not unrewarding. Tit fucking of the vigour and duration that scene’s 5 and 6 display has to be given a big thumbs up.

Ultimate Curves Review

Ultimate Curves is as its name suggests a collection of short stories whose theme is women of a fuller figure. I was looking forward to reading it because quite honestly I get sick of seeing stick-thin women in the press and reading about how such and such a “celebrity” has put on a couple of pounds.

I was not disappointed by Ultimate Curves.

All of the stories have one thing in common an appreciation of the pleasures to be enjoyed with a fuller figured woman. The stories are packed with descriptions of the beautiful curves that come with a larger frame, shapely hips, a round ass and of course a fuller chest.

And all of this is described in a detail that is often missing from other erotica. I know from writing erotica myself that it’s often best when writing to only hint at certain aspects of a character’s appearance to allow the reader’s mind to fill in the blanks and adapt the narrative to include characters that work best for them. But in a book specifically aimed to please a lover of larger ladies Ultimate Curves revels in descriptions of these voluptuous sexy women.

In fact I’d say that the level and quality of description in the narrative is generally much higher than in other erotic fiction I have read. And in case you are worried, the descriptions of the sex are pretty hot too, with vanilla, bondage, threesomes and a little light BDSM thrown in.

Of course there is a variation in the quality of the writing and some stories will not suit everyone. There were a couple of stories that I didn’t get along with due to the scenario, or style of writing, but that is a matter of personal taste and an exception to the majority of the book which I thoroughly enjoyed. The beauty of a collection of short stories like this is of course that you are bound to find something that you like.

Ultimate Curves is a refreshing departure from your run of the mill beautiful people style erotic book. It dares to be different in daring … it wins.

Porn Week Budapest Review

Porn Week Budapest has to be the ultimate in DVDs for the wannabe porn director. It’s filled with in-your-face action shot on hand-held video cameras with the minimum of studio lighting and direction. With the room packed with crew, cast and the lucky members of the public who got to come and watch/participate in the production it’s a steamy scenario all round.

It’s obvious that the performers are given a rough idea of the flow of the scene, but with the milling about of extras, production crew and hangers-on the action is pretty much down to the performers to go with the flow.

This sort of gonzo-esque porn has its pros and cons. On the up-side it’s as natural as porn gets, semi-improvised, no extensive post-production getting between you and the fucking. On the down side it’s sometimes frantic and difficult to see what’s going on. The lighting is sometimes dark and, er, not at all illuminating, the sound drowned out by the raucous party music which I found didn’t create atmosphere, it was just intrusive.

There’s plenty for the blowjob conosieur and if you like soapy frolics in a bath of porn stars you’ll be over the moon.

The extras include “behind the scenes” chat with the cast and crew which is quite enlightening. Good, but not great. And quick sex toy hygiene tips from Poppy Morgan, she likes her Jack Daniels and not for drinking.

Overall if you like your porn “real” and without frills you’ll enjoy this video. It immerses you in a porno-fuck-fest-party that will keep you amused. Cunning Stunts Review – Directed by Strangelove

Cunning Stunts is another DVD from the Harmony Films Studio. Directed by Strangelove it tries to add something a little different to the genre of erotic/pornographic movies.

The first scene involves a doctor’s couch, a penis pump, stirrups and a butt plug. There’s lots of mutual licking and sucking. Lots and lots and – well it does go on for quite a while. Cindy Dollar really does get a seeing-to.

Next it’s Tanya Tate’s turn to get a serious seeing to from Jay R and she seems to enjoy it too, including the graphic facial cum shot. A very enthusiastic performance.

The camera work is of the usual Harmony high standard and the picture quality is HD, no grainy VHS-eqsue rubbish here. You get to see everything, clearly and in HD just plug it into your 52″ TV and feel part of the action LOL.

Cunning Stunts is a good DVD. Apart from where noted above each of the scenes is better in isolation that as part of the whole. But then when did you last watch every scene in a porn movie from beginning to end?

Satan’s Whore

Satan’s Whore from Harmony Films illustrates once again that Harmony is always striving to be distinctive and add narrative to adult films reversing a trend by many other studios towards a movie being between 4 and 6 bland, repetitive scenes that simply depict a random selection from a menu of sex acts.

The premise of the video is that it forms the only surviving film record of a satanic ritual performed 43 years ago – to create the perfect sexual creature known as “Satan’s Whore”.

As theme for a video this is great. Think of all the possibilities sadly this is one of the weakest parts of the DVD. All the Satanic Devil-Speak uttered by the narrator is complete gumble. “On the sixth day of the sixth month 1966″ that’s 4 sixes, not 3! And why not the summer solstice, much more auspicious and only 14 days later, LOL. I could go on about his but I won’t, it’s best if you pretend this bit of the film (the Devil-Speak) isn’t happening and you can enjoy the good bits.

The brief depiction of a “Black Mass” with post-produced, discoloured, 1960s tinted and scratchy “film” is OK and isn’t overplayed. The editor didn’t fall in to the trap of trying to post-process the whole movie, indeed even the whole mass, with the effect.

The film is divided into six scenes, or as the story would have it “The Six Steps To Whoredom”. The High Def video allows the atmospheric parts of the film to work really well, the sound quality adding a depth to the production that is too often lacking. However the movie isn’t quite perfect. Which is a shame because it is easy to imagine that it could have been.

In “The Bitch” Anan Nicol, Claudia Rossi and Jay R (The snake man himself) begin with a sensuous voyeuristic opening. This is incredibly effective right up until Jay R gets up from his chair and joins in the fun. From then on the underlying bed of chants and moans fades out so you can hear the three performers getting down and dirty. The performances are great, but the camera is hand-held, very well hand-held, but the constant movement, panning, titling and zooming, was a little too much. Yes, we got to get close in on the action but it was occasionally off-putting.

“The Virgin” starts with the less than virginal Ree Petra, in a bath, with a big black dildo. I’m guessing she didn’t buy the dildo from B&Q when she bought the bath. Donning a white waspie stockings and gloves she jumps on her lover who’s already tied to the bed awaiting the arrival of Ree and her impressive chest. “The Seductress” (Dana De Armond) plays with her ultimately superfluous glass ball while a kneeling Olivier Sanchez flails himself. Anal, oral, rimming, you want it, you get it in this scene. Dana De Armond’s plea of “don’t stop fucking me” is hardly necessary but effective nonetheless, LOL.

Alexandra Cat is “The Slut”. Wearing gorgeous sexy underwear the Russian minx first entertains two then three men simultaneously. The heat of the scene is generated more from the pure devilish lust from Alexandra Cat than the lights. It gets so hot in the room during the shoot that all four performers are dripping with sweat by the inevitably sticky end.

Olivier Sanchez and Stracy Stone Get it on in “The beauty”. A good solid m-f scene with some nice ball sucking, oooh nice hehehe.

The final scene is “The Perfect Whore”. Bobbi Starr takes on three strapping young lads to prove that she is the ultimate and willing servant of their sexual desires. Now don’t get me wrong here, this is a sex-filled scene revolving around the gorgeous and very horny Bobbi Starr, but I felt it was a little frantic as everyone tried to get in on the action at the same time. That eroded the atmosphere for me, and Bobbi was at her sexy best laid on the couch in the cut scenes being generally hot and horny.

Inter-scene graphics and cut scenes are good to excellent throughout if you ignore the confused diabolically silly occult nonsense. The cover design is good, though not groundbreaking and the text on it easy to read. I mention that as I hate standing in an adult store straining to read tiny, badly printed and low contrast cover notes.

The production values and quality are top-notch. Make-up and costumes are appropriate and beautifully executed. The sets are spot on and fit the theme of the movie, atmospheric and slightly dark.

Any criticisms of this film have to be put in the context of the high standard that Harmony set themselves and the rest of the industry. If most other studios had produced this it would be regarded as their best work. The up-close and constantly mobile camera work in some scenes is not quite my cup of tea, though it might be yours. Go get a copy, watch it and see for yourself.

Naughty Spanking 3

From Xcite Books and edited by Miranda Forbes Naughty Spanking 3 is a compilation of short stories that will appeal to anyone with an interest in erotic literature, especially if they have a leaning towards the application of a well placed palm to a bare backside.

The stories range in length from 4 to 20 pages, so from what you could term flash fiction to short stories. There’s a little something for everyone, often written with a tongue pressed firmly into one cheek and revelling in the salacious naughtiness of red bottoms exposed to the gaze of others.

If you’ve never read any erotica containing spanking before this book is an excellent place to start. There are stories of varying hues, most of which climax in a sexual conclusion, some which don’t see either of the participants actually orgasm. Reading them we are sure you will find something that stirs in you the urge to try a little spanking yourself.

Nothing in the stories gets too heavy because although there are of course authoritarian and BDSM style references we see this as describing fun spankings. The sort of naughty play that, if it were on film, would have one or other of the participants turn to the camera and wink at some point.

The stories are not too heavy on plot, it would be difficult to accomplish much character development in 20 pages and get down to any sort of sexual play. Look on them as scenes for your own pleasure, to be sampled and savoured when you and maybe your partner are in the mood for literary foreplay.

It’s difficult to single out a specific story as a favourite as they are varied and will suit different tastes but we quite like the thoroughly contrived and exceeding devilishness of the characters and scenario in “Hard Times at The Nymphomaniac Rehabilitation Facility”.

If you like a little bit of spanking, not too much, or you want to sample spanking literature then this is a great place to start. You never know you might end up with a red bottom just for being naughty enough to read it.

Hell Is Where The Party Is

Initial impressions of this DVD are from a card slip cover over the plastic case. Black with a red silhouette of a female devil character it looks classy. The cover promises a DVD for the “MTV-generation”. It also promises 1 hour and 40 minutes of hardcore pumping action with snappy editing and all your favourite hardcore moves.

The question is of course do the seven scenes deliver the high quality excitement promised by the cover?

You can get a flavour of the DVD from the scene titles; Hell Is Where The Party Is, Hell’s Kitchen, The Devil Made Me Do It, Hypnotise Me, Kinky Pink Pussy, Inferno And Fallen Angel.

From the hedonistic club ambience of the first scene, through kinky nurses and the sexiest horny little devil you’ve ever seen in Hell’s Kitchen you can’t take your eyes off the action. The music runs constantly, editing keeping the soundtrack and hardcore fucking in synchronisation in an effortless flow of pussy pounding filth.

Except it doesn’t feel like filth when you’re watching it. It’s like a high budget music video with blowjobs, a kinky fantasy set to music with the sexy latex-clad devil popping up throughout the scenes to ensure everyone gets their fair share of fucking.

Hypnotise me is a girl-girl scene featuring double dongs and strap-on fun for everyone. I mention it because I hate girl-girl scenes where the director seems to think that a guy is needed part way through, as if the girls can’t amuse themselves … these two can.

There are a lot of sultry looks towards camera, a bit of winking and post-production effects to glamorise the already excellent lighting. All of the previous sentence would normally make me cringe and reach for the eject button on the remote in any other DVD. I am not a fan of POV porn, I don’t like lighting that is used to try and make up for deficiencies in the performances/production.

But this isn’t just any adult movie.

The lighting, editing, camera and post production are exceptional. The looks into the lens work because the girls aren’t making daft mewling noises and telling you how good you are. They are already having a great time and want you to join in – well that’s how it feels.

The DVD Extras have two galleries. The basic gallery with some great shots of the performers and the “Glamorous Gallery” that’s been worked on with Photoshop. The images are on the whole a cut above the average, though the paper cyclorama behind the models is a little creased and bit distracting. There you are you see, I’m having to get soooo picky to say something bad about this DVD.

There’s also the “You Want My Booty?” music video on the “Miss Lucifer Girls” sub menu of the Extras Menu. The lyrics wouldn’t win any prizes but the video is definitely the one the Pussycat Dolls would like to make if MTV would allow them to air it. It’s a great extra and in my experience unique in adult DVD.

I can’t think of anything negative to say about this DVD. Yes I can be picky if I want to, but the effort that’s gone into making this DVD something really special means that would be plain churlish.

My congratulations to everyone involved from headliners Viva Style, Sylvia Saint, Angel Dark and Keni Styles, director “Louis Xypher” right down to the girl/guy who made the coffee on set. That must have been damn fine coffee!
