Porn debuts of any kind, be they performance or directorial can be a little shaky so it’s with a certain trepidation that I place this DVD in the player and wait for the menu to appear. Mind Fuck is the first DVD by Scarlett Revell and as a new director entering a crowded market, competing against so much free content will it make you want to go out and spend your hard earned wonga?

Top billing in this movie goes to Skin Diamond but despite being the predominant performer she is not the only star. Scarlett has pulled some great performances out of the assembled cast to conjure up a twisted vision of a “sick” girl in an institution whose illness centres around her extreme and rampant sexual desires.

Beginning with a hot and hard three-girl scene involving Skin Diamond, two sexy nurses and a mean looking strap-on dildo the viewer is taken on a trip into a sick institution, or is it a twisted mind. The truth is we don’t know because as each scene unfolds you are exposed to what appears to be different aspects of Skin Diamond’s psyche manifested through hard core sex scenes. Is she dreaming or is she insane. You’ll find yourself not caring because every scene is acted out rather well (especially for an adult movie!).

There is story here, in as much as any purely adult movie has a story these days and your concept of sanity is played with a little too. I was really surprised that the first scene didn’t fall foul of the BBFC rules about depicting consensual sex when it began but it looks like the censors had their common sense heads on when they rated this movie because a few minutes in and the intro depicting Skin Diamond’s reluctance gives way to a hot three girl scene. There are lots of close-ups, lots of filthy language and most importantly as much girl on girl action as you could wish for.

As you watch the big dicks, hot chicks and freaky scenarios unfold – and you realise that this new director is one twisted bitch. What’s even better is that she can make good adult movies. Checking the credits you can see that the film was both directed and edited by Scarlett. This is just the sort of different and edgy porn that we need to see more of, safe porn scenarios don’t work anymore, they’ve all been done. Imaginative pornography is the way to separate the professional productions from the dreary low quality dross out there and this production has that imagination in spades. We don’t need 35mm film to prove a director can direct and that performers can perform, HD video works just fine and the combination of the freaky Dutch angles and Scarlett’s editing really work.

This film isn’t perfect, the acting is good for a porn movie but a bit wooden at times however it is by no means the worst I’ve seen in an adult movie so that’s a minor criticism.

So go out, get hold of a copy of this movie on VoD or DVD from your local adult store and when you’ve been suitably impressed by Scarlett Revell’s Mind Fuck keep an eye out for her next twisted offering.

I started watching Wasted by British director Gazzman and couldn’t decide what category it fell into. Was it a mocumentary? Was it a spoof? Was it trying to be reality TV, but about porn and porn production?

I came to the conclusion that it’s what TV producers have taken to calling “Constructed Reality”. That is telling a story by carefully crafting a series of directed scenes, sometimes improvised, to tell a story as if it were happening for real. The director and the viewer form an unspoken agreement not to question this deceit. Through that metaphorical nod and wink we get to enjoy a rather extreme, R18 rated soap opera about some pretty out of control porn stars trying to make a movie despite them being depicted as having deep character flaws and mercurial behaviours.

We watch Brooklyn Lee, Angelina Valentine, Kelly Klass, Aiden Starr, Breanne Benson, James Deen, Nacho Vidal, Nick Manning, Danny Mountain and Tony De Sergio fight their respective daemons while they fuck for the camera.

James Deen is depicted as an alcoholic, steeling booze from sleeping vagrants and pissing on the windshield of an SUV while standing on the hood (it’s in the states OK, if he was in the UK it would be a windscreen and a bonnet :p)

Angelina Valentine is billed as a psychopath, and is pretty good at acting like a psycho diva for the purposes of the movie.

Nacho Vidal is apparently “Angry”, soooo he shouts a lot, throws a lot of things, breaks one camera of a journalist who wants to interview him and then fucks his co-star.

Nick Manning, “Pretty Boy Of Porn” doesn’t do humility, and he doesn’t get on with Nacho Vidal for the purposes of the DVD. He is only tamed when Aiden Starr has him gagged and strapped to a table. Apparently this scene isn’t for public release – oh dear, Gazzman seems to have forgotten and put it on the DVD.

In “Porn Couples” some nice use of gym equipment is used as we watch a porn couple row about a scene he did “behind her back” and then make up by fucking hard.

The end of the movie has Nacho Vidal scream into an underground parking lot at the studios, storm into the office and rant at the management. All very amusing.

If you know Gazzman’s work you know what the porn content of the movie will be like. Every position, every hole and lots of cum for you to enjoy. The settings are industrial and the fucking is vigorous and raw. Personally I liked Aiden Starr and Nick Manning’s scene best because it was different, a little kinky and playful in its execution. There’s more variety in this movie than in some of Gazzman’s output and the movie is better for it. The sex scenes are good, but it’s the movie as a whole that makes me tempted to say this is his best title yet.

The premise of this DVD is not entirely new but I’ve never seen it executed so well and to such good effect. There have been “reality” porn movies before but this one has a vitality and humour that means that I, a hater of soaps and constructed reality really enjoyed. This isn’t for everyone but you need to watch it to see that porn movies don’t have to have the budget of an epic to be different and entertaining.

Scene two is a teenage boy’s wet dream with two pairs of half-naked girls (Angelica, Deborah, Lucy Belle and Viva) sucking and fucking each other in an otherwise deserted bar. However if you are a fan of Viv Thomas’ main body of work then don’t be surprised at the slightly less polished nature of this DVD or it’s more forthright style of sex and direction. This is more mainstream than the gentler output from the Viv Thomas studio, simply because it’s produced fro Playboy TV

I met Sandra shine a couple of years ago in Berlin and I have to say that she is just as hot in real life as in the videos she makes so when I got “Simply Sandra” from Viv Thomas I was rather thrilled. I’ve always been a fan of her and a DVD that features this gorgeous, hot performer was always going to be a dream to review.

Scene one opens with Lola and Sandra, and a rose that Sandra uses to stroke Lola’s face. Eve Angel and Sandra’s scene is number five on the DVD and it is something really special. It’s not just that they are incredibly sexy, or that they start off wearing bikini’s, or that the scene takes place in a pool. No, all that would be hot enough on its own but what really sets this apart is that the action takes place at night and manages to be intimate, because the girls are shrouded in darkness, yet vivid because they are two pale, writhing bodies cavorting in the water. The success of this scene derives from the great performances but also because of the technical excellence of the lighting and camera work.

It would have been all too easy to have the scene feel dark and murky if the lighting was too low, or over-light it and lose the intimacy in a wash of floods. But unsurprisingly Viv pulled it off with an exquisitely different scene to end the main scenes of this DVD.

The extras include a bonus scene where Sandra masturbates, solo in a swimming pool in the bright sunshine just for you. A very, very nice scene; And she seems to enjoys it too.

Every scene on this DVD is beautifully lit and shot, composition and framing are superb and the close-ups are perfectly illuminated and clean. The pace is slow and the action delicate in classic girl-girl style. That means this may not be for everyone, especially those looking for hardcore girl-girl action. But if you want to see beautiful girls with great bodies enjoying each other under the Mediterranean sun then you’ll love this video.

This is my first Wicked Pictures production and I’m not sure what to expect, with the other production houses I review I usually have a good idea of their style and format.

I must say the packaging of this DVD is very good. It looks for all intents and purposes like a book. Just inside the front cover is a very nice image of Jessica resplendent in a ball gown with an open book upon her knee and the words “A collection of erotic tales that go bump in the night. Sounds promising.

When you open up the box a small book of fairy tale excerpts and a book mark are revealed along with the DVD of course.

It promised t o be completely different to anything I have reviewed before and my interested was peaked. I couldn’t wait to kit off, slip between the covers and turn on my DVD player.

Tale 1, Snow White. Just as in the original story, Snow White is awoken from her slumber by her Prince and that’s where the original story is left behind. The kiss develops in to full on sex, filmed in a dreamy setting.

Jessica Drake gets a jolly good fucking by her Prince Charming, moving through missionary to reverse cowgirl. All the naughty adult action ends with Jessica being treated to a creamy facial.

Tale 2. The Pied Piper. This tale has a very unusual twist, instead of the Pied Piper ridding the town of rats he has been employed to rid it of whores.

He plays his pipe and lures 4 gorgeous girls away to his boudoir. Then the action begins in earnest. The girls all get a chance to blow his pipe and amuse themselves whilst the piper is fucking Jessica.

This DVD is different from others I have seen and is fun and entertaining as well as being steeped in pornographic content. I did find certain aspects of it irritating, for example the consistent facial finishes and the attempted BJs with condoms which doesn’t work for me on any level.

But overall it’s a good quality production with a storybook overtone and some good extras including an additional scene. The Craving would make a good first timer’s viewing and one which could be shared with your partner.

I couldn’t place individual’s names in each scene because I’m not familiar with the porn stars and the DVD doesn’t tell you as you play the scene but I have listed the actors below.

Gazzman’s Whorehouse is exactly what it says on the cover, the story of the goings on in a very special type of whorehouse. The whorehouse is a very nice place, a 20^th century country house with a pool.

The first scene opens with a husband calling the whorehouse to arrange for his wife’s unfulfilled sexual desires to be satisfied. As the whorehouse madam puts it “to release her inner whore”. Quque the pouting, walking shakily on dangerously high heels and rubbing of naughty bits by Kristy Lust. Then four cocks in suits appear.

No matter how hard she tries the plucky Kristy Lust cannot get all of them in her mouth at once and so begins the round robin of sucking and wanking that four guys on one girl inevitable entails. And still she hasn’t taken of her naughty, translucent PVC raincoat. The guys line up to spit roast Kristy and begin to run out of holes to penetrate. Maybe George could have been a little more orally attentive but that’s a small criticism as the fucking is fast without being frantic and enjoyable to watch. The cum shot on Carla’s pussy winds the scene up nicely.

Scene 3 and a lawyer, Breanne Benson wants to be dominated. Good introduction to the action by Breanne, a little titty fucking and some no nonsense hard screwing. Sat on the breakfast stools the girls get an equal portion of cock from behind before things get more precarious and uncomfortable as they are fucked around the kitchen. Natalie and Angie start off this DVD with a high school student arriving home to find she’s locked out. The helpful next door neighbour takes her in and soon helps the girl practice her kissing technique and a lot more. Kissing becomes licking and soon clothes are discarded and out pops a vibrator. Considering the “young” girl is supposed to be inexperienced she seems very adept at pleasuring her MILF neighbour with it. Not a bad scene but it was let down by all the action taking place on a kitchen set on the worktops and a hard table. Surely they would have slipped off to a nice sofa or bed?

Sammy Jayne and Vera act out a scene where the lady of a rather nice house has a girl dance for her for money. Dancing develops to stripping and then, well you can guess what happens. The girls are happy enough to pleasure each other and do make use of a double-ended dildo. However the dildo only ever seems to end up properly inside one of the girls at any one time and at some of the weirdest of angles.

In the third scene Nikki and Zeta are already in bed with very little in the way of clothing to impede the ensuing fun. They slowly undress throughout the scene and are content to use their own body and that of their partner to pleasure themselves.

Sanndy and Sophie take around 10 seconds to tire of the game of pool they are having in the fourth scene, so Sanndy pops out for a few seconds, returning with a dildo and a double dong. I really can’t understand why they then spend a couple of minutes sucking at the double ender when it’s obviously much more fun to be sucking each other and using the dildo properly. Sadly they don’t share the two-headed sex toy, what a missed opportunity.

Nikki Sands and Cristina get together on the beach. No toys in this scene but keeping sand out of those intimate places has to be difficult enough without props. Quite where they found a beautiful beach deserted enough to film this scene I don’t know but I’d love to find out. A great scene for those of you who like outdoor sex in the true great wide open.

No nonsense sex in hotel rooms is what Sophie Moone and Ella get up to. Nicely shot and featuring some hot scissor sister action this scene rounds off the DVD perfectly.

How can I sum up this DVD? Well the fresh faces, excellent lighting, intimate and yet sensitive photography are what you expect from a Viv Thomas production. The boobs are (almost all) natural and the scenarios plausible, if occasionally strained when they reach the performers’ acting limits. The use of sex toys is nice, though occasionally silly and not quite fulfilling the potential for extra horniness that they can engender within a scene.

Reading between the lines it appears the scenes were gathered from a number of sources and the differences in directorial style, image quality and tone are obvious to see. That isn’t to say that any of the elements of this DVD are bad, indeed many porn houses would give their metaphorical left testicle to produce a DVD of this calibre. It’s just a bit eclectic and partly because of that not one of Viv’s best offerings. Of course if you like variety and scenes that are varied on a DVD, ignore what I just said. LOL
