I spotted the Revel Body vibrator several years ago at the eroFame trade show and have absolutely no idea why I haven’t got around to testing it before now. But hey, they offered to send one over from the USA for me to try and who am I to say no. After all I am a pleasure whore. Lol
The “Revel Body Sol” is the second incarnation of the Revel Body and as I haven’t had the pleasure of the original I won’t be making any comparisons. I’m a Revel Body virgin.

The packaging was a striking sunburnt orange with an almost life sized Revel Body image to the front of the slip off cover and concise product information to the rear. The limited use of silver text gives the sleeve a classy feel.
I was impressed with the quality of the internal retainer, it’s sturdy and would withstand rough handling by the postal service. It also looks great with a lift off matt white lift off lid with a flourish of wavelength type images around the edge. Obviously referencing the Revel Body’s propulsion drive. OMG! I came over a bit Captain Kirk then. 🙂
The orange base presents the Revel Body Sol Sonic Vibrator, whilst underneath is the “O” shaped cradle on which the vibrator is charged. And at the very bottom are two interchangeable heads and your User Manual.
It was nice to see that quality products have been used throughout the presentation of this vibrator which does bring with a certain level of expectation.

The Revel Body Sol is roughly the size of a small tennis ball and has a magnetic plug through its core which vibrates and has interchangeable heads.
This vibrating orb feels good to hold in the palm and has a lube retentive velvety silicone finish. The On/Off button is situated between the “+” & “-“ buttons for rotating the vibratory patterns. Simply press and hold it down and away you go.
My Revel Body Sol Sonic Vibrator came with a flat head, concave head with concentric circles and a “tickler” type head. I opted to apply the concave head which appears to be “sucked” from your grasp by the inner core’s magnets.
Both eager and excited I slipped off to the bedroom whilst Alex chatted to the builder about the new roof on the telephone.
Thoughts running through my head…I mustn’t come loudly…I must be quiet… 😉
I pressed the On button and immediately felt the power of the vibrating orb in my hands. The Revel Body Sol was vibrating and simultaneously thrusting the inner core in and out. Looking good, I thought licking my fingers and running them gently between my lips.
But first nipples.
Applying the vibrating head to my semi erect nipple soon had it standing to attention. I found the deepest thrum the most arousing. The same for my stomach and inner thighs. However, I do have many massagers which have a more effective vibration plate, for example the Lelo Wand which is responsive to pressure too.
It did occur to me during use that the Revel Body is difficult to control in terms of the interface because it’s mounted on the equator rather than the pole. It kept turning in my hand whilst vibrating and I found discerning one control from the other difficult without raising it to my face to view them. 🙁
After a while I also found myself becoming irritated with the vibratory feedback, it felt like my fingers were having more fun than me. No, seriously there is far too much digital stimulation and I rather disappointingly found that despite the range of modes, only one worked on my nipples.
By this time I was rather hoping that its clitoral pleasures would be innumerable…
But, it wasn’t to be. Either the lack of “targeted” stimulation fell short of my expectations or the shape of the Revel Body Sol vibrator doesn’t lend itself to clitoral stimulation.
